Family inHome Caregiving

Family inHome Caregiving is still bringing on new clients. We use the telephone and/or Zoom to do the initial assessment to acquire most of the information needed. If the client has Zoom, then we do a virtual walkthrough with the potential client. Once the initial assessment is complete, we talk about finances then the Service Agreement. We also discuss what kind of Home Care Aide they are looking for so we can make the right match.
Our Home Care Aids are screened and I have started asking them to take their temperature every morning and night to ensure they do not have any fevers, also to wash their hands as often as possible and use hand-sanitizer, which the company supplies if needed. They are asked to follow CDC rules and regulations while being with our clients and to limit their off-duty activities and follow the Shelter-in-Place order. This way it limits the possibility of infection.
